Time for an update on where we are I think would be a good idea.
Well the magazine has gone to the printers - a first proof was sent back with 300gsm gloss, laminated cover with 100gsm silk pages. It looked, felt and smelt fantastic. There were a few issues with some of the transparencies that have now been fixed and a 2nd proof is now on its way to me - hopefully I will get it tomorrow.
Once I am happy with the proof, I will be doing a run of a A4 and A5 versions of the magazine. The A5 version will very much feel like a bookazine, and if successful I am thinking of doing a run of A5 Issue 1 and Issue 2 issues so those who are interested can have a full set.
I am hoping to have the final printed copies of Issue 3 in my hands by the end of next week - please keep checking back for more detail.
I have finished the online digital version of the issue with embedded video - if you pre-order the magazine now I will send you the link to take a look.

The Indiegoo camaign to raise funds to print Issue 3 of Retro Fusion was a roaring sucess with nearly $3k raised with the camaign itself, and a number of other donations made to the magazine independandly. We are now carrying out the first sub-edit whilst waiting for the interview replies from Mike Montgommery to arrive tomorrow. In parallel the final touches are being done to the brand new, exclusive ZX Spectrum game that we are having developed for us by Jonathan Cauldwell. I am hoping to attend the Spectrum 30 event in Cambridge a week Saturday (9th September) and show off the non-print versions of the magazine (hopefully we will also have some demo printed copies) and also attendees will be able to play the game.
At the event I am hoping to pick up some more pre-orders of Retro Fusion as there will be a large international presence with those visiting - a good oppurtunity therefore to spread the work.
Not long to go now...
